Treasure Map

By Presenting a sophisticated action of Hotel Management in mist of an exuberating two and a half Kilometer beach front property with coconut plantations, "Hotel Toca do Marlin" has become the highest reference on the Geo-tourist map in southern Bahia.  According to an evaluation created by a specialized press the Hotel is situated on a beach that is considered among the top ten beaches of the Brazilian Coast. The Resort is located 31 kilometers from the International airport of Porto Seguro in the indisputable paradise of Santo André within the historic district of Santa Cruz Cabralia, designated as "Área de Proteção Ambiental de Santo Antônio", environmental protected area, the First in Brazil, officially developed for high level tourism.
Once in the airport the guest can reach the Hotel either by helicopter or a forty minutes car ride, which includes a short journey by ferry boat through one of the two well preserved perennial rivers with untouched mangroves, full of the exuberating native fauna and flora that surrounds the resort. Southern Bahia has some other advantages over the remaining coast line of Brazil, such as, an average of 300 sunny days per year, and temperature around 25 degrees centigrade.

Why Six Stars?

For a Hotel to be considered Six Stars, it must surpass routine evaluations and exceed today's standard of tourism. "Hotel Toca do Marlin"'s staff is refined from the reception, which can receive it's guests up to five languages, to the Management trained in the best European schools and hotels. In a whole the Resort incorporates services and facilities that are not available in any other address on the coast of Bahia, or even within the rest of the Brazilian coast. The search for exclusiveness began with the construction itself.  The social modules and suites were built only with noblest materials, "Ipê", Teak, Mahogany, for the woodwork, handmade Spanish tiles, antique Italian marble, copper plumbing, and English hardware. The meticulous finishing of the project has the detail of the work of Isabel Duprat, a renowned landscaper, to the peculiarity of antiques from the 16th to the 18th century, contrasting furniture from prestigious contemporary designers.  The refinement   of the silver, porcelain, and crystals all come from Christoffle, a traditional French signature in craftsmanship.
All suites have central air conditioner and are equipped with beds and pillows from Switzerland with electronic remote control for desirable individual angles.  The rooms are also fitted with Internet (laptop plug in), fax (at request), integrated digital phone system, and TV Sony Wega 29", with Satellite television.
The sophistication includes a valet service that does one's unpacking, ironing, sewing, and shoe shinning.  In addition to the bed covers, the towels are also made of Egyptian cotton, thus extending the refinement and quality of the services to the bathrooms. In order to personalize the service, the guests are consulted at the moment of arrival of their personal preferences, such as, room temperature, favored drinks and fruits, etc... .

"Resort do Cavalo Marinho" excels itself on the practice of two professional sports.  That is, Equestrian activities and deep-sea fishing. First there is the Stud farm "Haras Vale da Raposa", specialized in raising and training Lusitan Horses, (Portuguese Lusitanian horses).  The Stud farm is supervised by Heitor Nisencwajg, himself an experienced rider, and is fully equipped with stables, a saddlery, a lab, and an operating room.
The Stud Farm has at its command horse-masters, European and Brazilian Dressage champions, who instruct the horses and their riders all year long.  Furthermore the guests can have lessons in a covered riding course or in an open riding course overlooking the ocean or ride on a paradisiacal beach. Secondly, guests searching for adventure can find it on deep-sea fishing.  "Resort do Cavalo Marinho" is located in one of the best locations for this adventurous sport. The Resort is located exactly in one of four top spots in the Brazilian coastline where the Imperial blue Marlin can be found.

Culinary extravaganza
The delicacies offered by the restaurant and room service are elaborated with regional elements, along with a heavenly wine selection. The Kitchen was designed and organized by the best available experts.
A team of professionals highly trained by Lucia Nisencwajg, an Executive "Chef" herself trained in "Cordon Bleu"- Paris, carefully elaborates an exquisite and delicate menu.
